Climb Hub is a social platform built for climbers — log your sends, find belay partners, share beta videos, and discover gyms and crags worldwide. This page answers common questions and explains how to reach us when you need a hand.
Email climb.hub.the.app@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 2 business days.
Open the app and tap Sign up on the welcome screen. You can register with an email and password, or sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook. After signing up, you'll set a username, choose your climbing styles, and accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Climb Hub is completely free. There are no ads, no premium tier, and no in-app purchases.
Climb Hub runs on iOS 15.1 and later, and Android 7.0 (API 24) and later. The app is published on the App Store and Google Play.
Open the app, go to Profile → Settings → Account. From there you can update your email address, change your password, or enable multi-factor authentication.
Profile → Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication. Scan the QR code with any TOTP authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, etc.) and save the recovery codes somewhere safe.
You can share send photos, climb logs (route name, grade, gym or crag), short beta videos (up to 90 seconds), event invites, and gym days. Posts can be public, friends-only, or visible only to members of a specific gym.
Open the beta video, tap the share icon, and pick a destination (iMessage, Instagram, Slack, Files, etc.). Climb Hub renders a branded MP4 with a watermark and hands it to the OS share sheet. If you enabled "Upload without sound" when posting, the shared video is silent.
Open the post, tap the three-dot menu, and choose Edit or Delete. Deletion is immediate and removes the post from feeds, profiles, and search.
Yes. Direct messages between users are end-to-end encrypted — only you and the recipient can read them. We can't read your messages even on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for the technical details.
Tap any user's profile and choose Block or Report from the three-dot menu. Blocking removes them from your feed, hides their posts, and prevents them from messaging you. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
Tap the three-dot menu on the content and choose Report. Select a reason (spam, harassment, hate speech, violence, sexual content, intellectual property, other) and add an optional note. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Our moderation team reviews every report. If the content violates our Terms of Use, we remove it and may suspend or ban the poster depending on severity. Repeat or severe offenders are permanently banned. For urgent safety concerns, email climb.hub.the.app@gmail.com directly.
You can delete your account at any time, in-app or by request:
Deletion is permanent. Your posts, climbs, messages, and profile data are removed from active systems immediately and purged from backups within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for full details on data retention.
Open Profile → Settings → Send feedback and describe what happened. You can attach a screenshot. The report is sent to our team along with anonymous device info to help us reproduce the issue.
Still stuck? We're a small team and read every message.
