Delete Your Account

You can delete your Climb Hub account at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the Climb Hub app and log in to your account
- Go to the Profile tab
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing climb.hub.the.app@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
Data That Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:
- Your profile information (name, email, bio, profile photo, preferences)
- Your posts, comments, and climb logs
- Your messages and conversations
- Your friend connections and partner posts
- Your event RSVPs
- Photos and media you uploaded
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion:
- Server logs (IP addresses, request metadata) — retained for 14 days after deletion, then permanently removed
- Error logs — retained for 30 days after deletion, then permanently removed
- Legal obligations — if required by law, we may retain specific data for the legally mandated period
After the retention periods above, all data associated with your account is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems.
